From Disappearing to Self-Authorship

The Restoration is a literary memoir exploring how a woman can slowly disappear inside marriage, business, and responsibility — not through abuse or spectacle, but through trust, loyalty, and unexamined roles. 

Set between Europe and Costa Rica, the book traces a journey from self-erasure to self-authorship, revealing how contribution without authorship becomes unsustainable — and what becomes possible when a woman reclaims her right to choose.

This is not a how-to book. It is a story of recognition.

I wrote The Restoration after realizing that what looked like success from the outside was quietly costing me my voice, my value, and my authorship. I was functioning, contributing, and carrying responsibility — while disappearing in plain sight. 

This book is about seeing clearly — and refusing to disappear again.
